Dylan Rooney is a baritone from Nenagh. He has recently completed a BA in Music Performance (Vocal Studies) at the Royal Irish Academy of Music under the tuition of Virginia Kerr. He has achieved multiple awards and bursaries, as a prize winner in several competitions throughout Feiseanna.
Dylan was featured vocalist at the AIMS 50th Anniversary Concert in the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre and has performed at Dublin’s National Concert Hall (Gala Dinner 2018) and Dublin Castle for the US-Irish Council Annual Dinner. He has represented the Royal Irish Academy of Music in New York City as one of its chosen ambassadors, performing in the American-Irish Historical Society building.
Dylan Rooney will be singing as part of the Witch Within the Walls event, at Nenagh Castle, on Sunday 6 October, accompanied on the cello by Gráinne Higgins.
