We in Dromineer Nenagh Literary Festival respect your right to privacy and comply with our obligations under the EU General Data Protection Regulations, as enacted in the Data Protection Bill 2018.

This Privacy Policy aims to help you understand what data we collect, why we collect it, what we do with it and how long we retain it for.

TYPE OF DATA WE COLLECT:

Purchase Data: When you purchase tickets through the Box Office with our partners in the Nenagh Arts Centre, we will ask for your name, email, phone number, and address data. If you consent to provide this data it will be stored by our ticketing partner, Yapsody. When you book tickets online, your data is shared between Nenagh Arts Centre, Stripe (payment provider), and Yapsody (ticketing platform) in order to process the transaction and will be stored.

Any credit card details provided through Box Office or online are processed through Stripe, our payment provider.  Dromineer Nenagh Literary Festival does not store our customers’ financial details, nor do we have access to these details.

Subscription Data: Where clients have opted to be contacted by email, your data will be retained on our mailing list. You may opt out of receiving our emails at any time by clicking ‘unsubscribe’ at the bottom of any of our emails.

Dromineer Nenagh Literary Festival we will not use your contact details to send you promotional emails or postal mailings unless you have explicitly given us consent to do so.

Yapsody, Stripe act as data processors on behalf of Nenagh Dromineer Literary Festival and have implemented appropriate technological measures to protect against accidental loss, destruction, damage, alteration or disclosure.

Your information, whether public or private, will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason whatsoever, without your consent, other than for the express purpose of delivering the purchased product or service requested.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, and the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

MEDIA

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

COOKIES

When you log in, we will set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

EMBEDDED CONTENT FROM OTHER WEBSITES

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

HOW LONG WE RETAIN YOUR DATA

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

YOUR RIGHTS

You are entitled to view/amend your personal information, or withdraw your consent at any time, to know what data is being held about you, to request the removal of your personal data from our records and to have this action completed in a timely manner.
