Welcome to the Dromineer Nenagh Literary Festival Website
From its first event in November 2004, the Festival has grown into a much loved and warmly anticipated event in the autumn literary calendar. Each year we bring together writers and readers, nurturing and celebrating creative expression. Our 2019 programme offered something for readers and writers of all ages and included poetry, prose, memoir, journalism, drama, music, and performance. We brought some of the most exciting (upcoming and established) writers and poets to take part in last year’s festival and we are now looking forward to the 2020 festival.
It is intended that the Dromineer Nenagh Literary Festival 2020 will take place from the first to the fourth of October. The Festival will have a shortened programme and limited audiences this year, to take Covid-19 restrictions into account. The exciting line-up of events are being recorded and will be made available online. All events will adhere to Covid-19 protocols, therefore numbers are limited for each event and booking is essential. Bookings can be made through The Nenagh Arts Centre and details for booking will be available soon. In these unprecedented times, our plans may change and the festival will go ahead assuming that there is no change in government advice. Please follow us on Facebook and Twitter for updates.
